I just learned of Ruth's passing. Ruth and one of her sons taught for our College; she was truly an inspiration to faculty, staff and students...she was firm in her belief in Christ and led by example teaching all of us to follow Christ "and not be respectors of man (people)." I enjoy several of her devotionals and cherish the time she and I spent in bible study and prayer. Ruth will always be considered a beacon of light, encouraging all to press on to our calling. What a wonderful sister in Christ!

We had many years enjoying synchronyzed swimming with Ruth in our group. She was always there and willing to help with whatever needed to be done. Although many of us are not in the group now those memories and fun times will last forever in my mind. We always managed to pull it off at the end of every season. Fran Thompson
