Ryan Phan Obituary

PHAN Ryan Phan (Phan Hoang Giang), age 45, formerly of Chicago, died unexpectedly among family on Sunday, May 24, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Mai Tran; son, Philip and daughter, Linda. He will be missed by a large and extended family in Ohio, Chicago and Vietnam. Friends may call Monday 1-3 p.m. at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL, 4019 E. Livingston Ave.

Although I didn't know Ryan personally, he was always a very friendly neighbor. I will miss saying Hi across the yard and seeing his happy smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and his many friends. Bless you, Toni Gilcrest (the backdoor neighbor).
