I met Sally through my husband ... her husband Phil and my husband were ministers and very good friends until Phil passed away. Though we both lost our husbands, we continued to correspond at Christmas time with lengthy letters in our cards of what we had been doing but more so of what our children were doing. Last Christmas, 2016, was the first time in probably 25 years I did not hear from Sally and that concerned me, but I thought if she were ill I would hear. Now I understand, and I share the loss of a very good and loyal friend, just as our husbands had been. Esther C. Kunkle, Richwood, Ohio.
