Sam is Pickerington royalty, a true treasure and a fine man, it was an honor to serve as his physician and friend. Loved by many, and will be missed. Happy to know he is enjoying eternal life in God's ever overflowing pumpkin patch!

Knew Sam from Western Electric, his produce stand, then I worked with him for many years at the Village/then City of Pickerington. Such a good guy and always fun.
He'll be missed.

I enjoyed talking to Sam, he was a unique individual and one of the pillars of the community. I used to sell Buckeye Potato Chips in the 70's to him and his brother Jim at their produce stand on 256 close to where Keller Farms currently is. Prayers for the Patterson family. RIP Sam.

Sam was such a kind man. I enjoyed his conversations at Kroger, while he sampled whatever I was cooking. He will be missed by myself and the Kroger family in Pickerington.

I am so sorry. I just shared the news with my kids and we all filled up tears. Mr. Patterson was such a kind, lovely man and part of our annual tradition. A few years ago we happened to be there when the local Pickerington paper did an article on him and we are even pictured in the article with him, which I saved- what a special memory.
Our family is wishing you all much love, peace, and comfort. We are grateful for his kindness and he holds a special place in our hearts.

We live almost literally around the corner from his place & always not only enjoyed his fall pumpkins, but the conversations that went along with it. He was just a good person with a great heart & concern for people!

Only knew Sam as "Sam the Pumpkin Man" -- a mainstay in the Pickerington community selling pumpkins in the fall for nearly 30 years. Such a kind and caring man. Condolences to his family and friends.
