Sanford Shkolnik Obituary
Sanford "Sandy" Shkolnik, age 78. As Chairman and CEO of Equity Properties & Development Corp. he developed shopping centers and malls across the country including Old Orchard Center and Ford City Mall. Beloved husband of Judithanne Lynn DiGuiseppe-Shkolnik. Loving father of Mark (Jayne) Shkolnik, Julie (Bob) Tanaka, Amy (Chuck) Carlin, and James Shkolnik. Grandfather of Michael and Daniel Tanaka, Emily and Allison Carlin, and Max and Jack Shkolnik. Brother of Gerri (Jack) Herring. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Service Friday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals in Skokie (8851 Skokie Blvd). Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the David Shkolnik Memorial Scholarship at Capital Law School or the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. Judy & Jamie,
It has been many years since we enjoyed Sandy's company at Parker events and the Levi's home.
He was a terrific guy and we regret not seeing him more recently.

Sandy,
Was a wonderful, spirited individual. We talked at one time almost daily about investments, Ohio State athletics and his Bulls. I have missed those conversations and will miss him sorely. He was a great person. Rest well Sandy.
