Dear Sarah, thank you for accepting me into your life journey as it drew toward its earthly end. It was a privilege to share a bit of life and faith with you at this very tender time. I give thanks today that you are home with God in ways full of peace, and joy. May God carry my thanks to you, and for you, now. Loretta Shaffer

Our talks, our disagreements, gripe sessions and yes even laughter that we all shared over lunch will be very much missed, and so will you.
