Sarah Sloan Obituary

Sloan Sarah K. Sloan, 74 of Plain City, OH, passed away March 29, 2013. Sarah was previously employed by the Franklin County Domestic Court. She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Mary Carter. Surviving family includes husband, Richard Sloan; children, Mickael (Jennifer) Slemp, Mary Slemp-Carter; grandchildren, Kristen Slemp, Nicholas Carter, Katie Slemp-George, Jon-Michael Slemp; great-granddaughter, Emma George; brothers, Alvin Carter, William Carter. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-6 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 with a memorial service beginning at 6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SW CHAPEL, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Burial will be at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA. Messages of condolence may be shared with family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com

I never met Sarah, but felt I knew her. My Dad, Jim Towns, and her were buddies on earth. Now they are together for eternity. Bless your family.

Mary, Mike & Dick: I'm so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Sarah taking us to the Shake Shoppe for ice cream in the summer. What a hard worker she was.
