Sim Sip Obituary

SIP Sim Sip, 78, of Delaware, passed away October 13, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 2, 1932 in Battambang, Cambodia to his parents Pel Sip and Bun Monk. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife Siem Mey. Sim is survived by his children, Chansour Sip, Praseth Sip, Kosal Hung, Sopheap Som, Sophy Saiyoeun, Ley Sip and Junite Sip; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a Four Star General in the Cambodian Military. Sim was a board member and advisor to the Columbus Buddhist Community Temple. He was a loving man and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Friday from 1-3 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A cremation ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
