Stephen S. Slane, age 64, of Pickerington, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Diley Ridge Medical Center. He was born June 25, 1953 in Columbus, OH. Steve was retired and a former member of Reynoldburg Jaycee's. He loved playing the lottery and made it all the way to the Cash Explosion Show. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Steve is survived by his parents, Frank and Mary Lou Slane Sr.; brother, Frank (Elaine) Slane Jr.; sisters, Karen (Keith) Taylor, Linda (Larry) Wilkie, Theresa (William) Warner; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; several great nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit 5-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH where a vigil service will be held at 6:45 pm. A funeral mass, officiated by Fr. James Klima, will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, September 15, at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Online condolences at www.spencefuneralhome.com.
