Steven Hileman Obituary

HILEMAN Steven James Hileman, 22, of Columbus, passed away May 23, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Hileman; father, Kevin (Aimee) Hileman; mother, Diana Hileman; sisters, Samantha Swank, Brandi Hileman, Stephanie Coffman; brothers, Chad (Tanya) Hileman and Kody Hileman; mother-in-law, Patricia Felton; father-in-law, George Felton; grandparents, Chuck and Sally Swank, Barbara and Fred Wiesner, Bernice Hemmelgarn and Kenny Hemmelgarn; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Steve was a devoted husband and son. He loved his family very much and lived life to its fullest. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Pastor Owen Stotts will be officiating with interment at Grove City Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com.

My deepest sympathy to the Hileman family. I travel the route where the accident occurred on my daily commute to work. I didn't know Steve but think of him daily and thank him for his service to our country. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Our sincere sympathies are with Steven's family. His sister, Stephanie Coffman, shared the sad news with us this morning in Church, as we celebrated Memorial Day during our service. We will keep Stephanie, Diana and the rest of the family in our prayers, with thankfulness for Steven's time in the Army fighting for our freedom.
