Susannah Nisley Obituary

NISLEY Susannah Mary Nisley, age 85, of Columbus, Ohio died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at The Manor of Whitehall, OH. Susannah was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on May 21, 1922 to the late Harry and Martha Gillingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Nisley and her brothers Frank Gillingham and Pete Swyck. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Rockel; and son-in-law, Dave of Gahanna, OH; and her son, Roger Nisley; and daughter-in-law, Sally of Keswick, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Scott Reidenbaugh of Atlanta, GA, J.B. Reidenbaugh and wife Mandy of Columbus, OH, Heather Nisley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Matthew Nisley of Charlotte, NC, and Mark Nisely of Arlington, VA. Susannah retired from Bexley Kosher Foods in August 2003. She previously retired from Grange Mutual Insurance Company in June of 1988 after 14 years of faithful service. She attended Eastview United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Mary Martha Women's Circle. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2007 at Eastview United Methodist Church 1045 Ross Rd. Whitehall, OH. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214, or 4Kids of South Florida CCA Scholarship Fund, 827 S. State Rd. 7 Building Suite B, North Lauderdale, FL 33068. Susannah will be deeply missed by family and friends.
