Bill and Jennifer:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Suzanna. She was a dear friend and sister in Christ. Know how much you all are loved and being lifted up in prayer. Every day is one day closer to seeing her again.

Please accept my sorrow and prayers for healing throughout the coming years for all of you at this difficult time. It is one thing to celebrate the journey of the centenarian as his/her walk continues on, safe, in the peak of health, freed from all earthly bonds. To lose one so young seems so unfair, so ridiculously impossible to understand.
Suzi was so lovely when I had the most contact with her, several years back at UAHS, Class of '69. I am sure that someone with her character could have only become more beautiful.
I hope that you can find a "grief group" to join. When I lost my 25-year old daughter two years ago, the Kobaker House Counselors started a grief group. Whether they have continued that particular program or not, they can recommend a number of programs throughout the city, or they will work with you privately. I had to be pushed, but it was group help that managed to keep my sanity.
I'm sure you have been given all this information. But, you will deal with your loss the rest of your life, and while it will get easier, the help that is out there for you can make a world of difference as you go through this first year.
May you find comfort in the beauty that Suzi brought to this world and the smiles she both gave and received from countless friends and acquaintances. Her heart was filled with love, and by example, her life did make a powerful impact on every life she touched. Your family is in my prayers.

Sue will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched. We are grateful for her years of giving, particularly during the holidays. Wherever we were, we always knew the Rader's home was our second home. I will remember them fondly, although I think the childhood memory of Suzanna with a guitar in her lap is one of the strongest. Recollections are she was an amazing guitarist. Fortunately, she set aside that guitar for something much more precious, her husband Bill and their beautiful little girl, Jenny, who followed soon thereafter. For those who knew Susie in the blossom of her life now see a woman with the same quiet wisdom and beauty in Jenn. Your warm condolences and heartfelt wishes are very much appreciated. Thank you.

My name is Ellen Isaly Clark, and I graduated from Upper Arlington high school with Susie . As the person who does the web site for our Class of 1969, I am also the person who sends out messages when we lose one of our dear classmates, so I did notify our class of this sad news.
I personally remember Susie as a particularly sweet and quite beautiful girl, whose friendly and always-present smile lit up the hallways at our school. Please know that she will be dearly missed by our friends from the Class of 1969.
Also, I wanted you to know that we honor the classmates who have passed before us on a special "In Memoriam" page of the class web site, which you can see here: http://www.ua69.com/InMemoriam.htm
I also posted a notice about Susie's passing on this page: http://www.ua69.com/Announcements.htm, and sent an email to everyone.
Our classmates wanted Susie's family members to know that we valued Susie as a classmate, and that she will never be forgotten. Ever. At each class reunion, we honor and remember our deceased classmates at a special Memorial event, and in this way, we keep their memories alive and vibrant. Our next reunion will be in 2019, and we will contact you to invite you to attend this meaningful and inspiring gathering.
We do send our condolences to you, and the Class of 1969 knows that we have lost a beautiful, lovely and dear classmate in Susie Kauffman Rader.
