Tamara Lutz Obituary

LUTZ Tamara "Tammy" Sue Lutz, 49, of Logan, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Fairfield Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 30, 1958 in Columbus a daughter of Fred and Beverly (Tuller) Griggs. She was a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church and was employed by Diamond Power Specialty Company. Tammy was a 1976 graduate of Fairfield Union High School were she was a member of the Marching Band, Color Guard and Honor Society. She also attended Morehead State University. She is survived by her parents, Fred and Beverly Griggs of Pleasantville; husband, Roger Lutz of Logan; son, Brian Lutz of Logan; sister, Judy (Mike) McGonagle of Lancaster; grandson, Mason Kendall Lutz of Logan; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Griggs of Pleasantville; mother-in-law, Ida Goss of Rockbridge; brother-in-law, Jeff (Tammy) Lutz of Rockbridge; sister-in-law, Darla (Ron) Murdock of Pickerington; nephews, Matthew McGonagle and Ben Lutz; niece, Jennifer Edenborough; and special close friends, Mike and Mary Dolby and their children Rachel and Ethan. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Clara and Roy Miller, maternal grandfather Clarence Tuller, paternal grandfather Ralph Griggs and father-in-law Robert Lutz. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the HALTEMAN-FETT AND DYER FUNERAL HOME, 436 N. Broad St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff Jewell and Reverend John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the New Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215 or to the Pet Orphanage, P.O. Box 235, Laurelville, OH 43135 in her memory. Roger,
I am so sorry to hear about Tammy. I met her with you at our 25th Class Reunion and you were a perfect couple. I did not know her personally, but please know that I often think about the good times we had at Tri-County and always wish you happiness which you apparently had with Tammy. You will always be in our prayers.

Let me know if I can do anything to help you through this very difficult time.
