Thomas DeLorme Obituary

DeLORME Thomas Albert DeLorme, 89, of Chesterhill, formerly of Gahanna, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 3:15 a.m. at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. He was born on August 4, 1921 in Linn Township, Elkhorn County, Wisconsin to the late Albert and Edla Ongman DeLorme. He was an Army veteran of WWII and retired from the U.S. Department of Defense. He was a member of the Chesterhill United Methodist Church and was an avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Alice Evans DeLorme of the home; one son, Thomas Michael DeLorme of Columbus; two daughters, Joann Jean Carmean of Delaware and Barbara Lou DeLorme of Westerville; one step-son, Thomas Kelley of Westerville; and three grandsons, Jonathan Michael DeLorme, Evan Thomas Kelley and Sean Austin Kelley. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Mae Shields. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com
