Thomas Krichbaum Obituary

KRICHBAUM Thomas E. Krichbaum, 74, of Pataskala, passed away at The Pataskala Oaks Care Center on June 24, 2010. Born on June 24, 1936 to the late Cecil F. and Mary (Frye) Krichbaum in Nevada, Ohio. Thomas was a member of the Wagram United Methodist Church where he held many positions. He was a skilled wood craftsman, restored old cars, one of which, his pride and joy 1928 Model A Ford. He will be fondly remembered for his homemade ice cream. Survived by wife of 52 years, Ada (Drake) Krichbaum; children, Steven (Diane) Krichbaum and Janet (John) Van Tuyl; grandchildren, Benjamin (Kelly) Krichbaum, Pamela (James) Manville, Charles (Heidi) Krichbaum, Ashley Krichbaum and Matthew Dean; great-grandchildren, Jordan Krichbaum, Christian, Gabriel, and Olivia Manville; siblings, Meriam and Frank (Phyllis) Krichbaum; sisters-in-law, Sue and Linda Krichbaum. Preceded in death by siblings Paul, David and Robert Krichbaum. Friends may call at KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, Pataskala on Sunday June 27, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service at the Wagram United Methodist Church, 9535 Mink St., Pataskala, on Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev Timothy Heaton officiating. Burial to be held at Pataskala Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Creutzfeldz-Jakob Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 5312, Akron, OH 44334.
