Thomas Spangler Obituary

SPANGLER Thomas J. Spangler, age 87, of Bexley, Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Graduate of The Ohio State University and member of ATO Fraternity; The Sales Executive Club, and The Lions Club. Retired from Schodorf Custom Truck Bodies. Tom recently celebrated his 65th Wedding Anniversary with his loving wife Margaret. He is also survived by children, Barbara (Ron) Polinsky, Thomas (Patricia), Richard (Joyce), Joseph (LeeAnn), and John; grandchildren, Ronald, Michele, Stephanie, Thomas, Caroline, Hannah, and Zoe; five great-grandchildren; two sisters; nieces and nephews. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at THE MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High Street. Mass of Christian Burial 9 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel, St. Joseph Cemetery, WHERE FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET. Rev. Fr. Ray La Russa, Celebrant.
