I'm sorry for your loss Brenda and family. I miss Tim already. We communicated at least 4 or 5 times a week. I met Tim when the voinivich administration made numorous job abolishments and Tim was displaced to Pike county. We grew to be good friends until the day he passed. I admired his mild manner and courage as a law enforcement officer. The world lost a true kind and just man.

Tim was one of the finest Rangers that I had the pleasure of working with for many years. His words of wisdom and humor will live with us forever. Tim was what a Park Ranger and a fine human being is truly supposed to be like.

Growing up I always wanted to be my "Uncle Timmy." He shared with me his love of nature which I grew to love also. Some of my fondest memories were spent camping at Strouds Run, where he would take me around the park. He always taught me how to be safe in the woods and one time even brought a half dead snake to the camper just so I would know what one of the poisonous snakes in Ohio was.

You let me harass you endlessly by calling you Uncle Timmy and when I would go to give you kiss on the cheek, you would hilariously make a production of it ending with a big yuck :)

You taught me many things, but the most important was to live the life that makes you happy, laugh, and always try to help others.

Heaven gained another angel who will dearly be missed.

Tim was a sportsman which he inherited from our Grandpa Hopper. Tim loved the times we had as children at our grandparents house on Indian Lake.

Tim was always great with his nieces and nephews in our family. He absolutely love to tease and harass them and they all loved when he was doing it.

Tims passing has left a hole in our lives and our hearts that will never be filled. We just have to remember hes with our parents a family members who were there to greet him. Tim was a special and loving brother who can never be replaced. Love you Tim.

Your time was too with us was too short!! You gave me so many good childhood memories from trying to teach me to fish to letting me go on walks "by myself" in the woods with Buckwheat while watching me the whole time to showing me how defend myself with every pressure point on the body lol. I'm so grateful for the time Madison got to spend with you. Always my Uncle Timmy!!

Tim was always happiest outside and enjoyed endless hours even as a boy hunting, fishing and trapping. He was very content with the life he lead and with those who shared that life with him. He and Brenda baked Christmas cookies together and always made sure they made plenty to pass around to family and Im sure to friends as well. They also shared the bounty from their garden with others. He was a good man. I am glad that he was my brother, I loved him dearly.
