Tim and I met over 25 years ago when we worked together at Instantwhip. We immediately hit it off and became close friends. Life got busy and we fell out of touch, but then were re-united by chance at Bay Point 5 years ago. We became close again then work sent me South. I just heard of Tim's passing and am in complete disbelief. Laura, Karissa, and Dalton: Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Laura, Karissa and Dalton,
I had the privilege of knowing Tim through our work together at Harland Clarke. We talked at least twice a week and the subject many times was about our families. From those talks I felt like I got to know your family. I pray our Lord gives you all tremendous comfort, peace and strength during this time of loss. I know Tim loved the Lord Jesus Christ and we look forward to seeing him again! (Proverbs 3:5,6)

While not growing up with Tim, my 20 years knowing him were filled with laughs and good times. Working at the same company twice and always keeping in touch around business, family, sports and politics, Tim always had a high spirit and a desire to do well.

His love for his family was always front and center, with discussions always centering on Laura's career, Dalton's sports and Karissa's dance. His pride showed through to everyone he met and spoke to.

While he definitely passed on way too soon, he leaves behind the legacy of a loving family, friends who admired him and the memories of an electric personality and positive attitude that everyone can aspire to.

Dear Newman Family,
Words cannot express how truly sorry I am for your loss. I had the privilege of being Karissa and Dalton's teacher, and enjoyed getting to know your family so well. I always appreciated Tim's kind words during parent-teacher conferences, and was always impressed with how important it was for him to be actively involved in Karissa and Dalton's education. His children were the light of his life, and it was evident to anyone who knew him. Laura, Karissa and Dalton....my thoughts are with you now and always as you face the future. Keep shining as bright as ever, your dad lives on through you.
Love you all,
Lindsay Adams

I am deeply saddened by Tim's unexpected passing. He was my company's Harland Clarke representative, and I always looked forward to working with him. He was a remarkable man who took such great joy in telling his clients how proud he was about his family. He will certainly be missed. To Tim's family: may God's grace and your fond memories help you through this difficult time.

God Bless,

Dear Newman family, I had the pleasure of working with Tim years ago when he was involved with Evidence Youth Group. Tim was always kind to all, warm, and gracious. He was kind to me, so I appreciated him. Last week, his picture showed up on my facebook sidebar, and I considered sending him a message to see how he was after all these years. I did not send the message, but wish I had done so. Then another friend told me of Tim's passing. I am certain that your comfort will come in knowing that Tim is present with the Lord Jesus Christ now. May all of you continue in your faith and be strong in the Lord. I am grieving with you, and praying for you.

Warm Regards,
Pam Clegg

I had the pleasure of working with Tim at SBC Advertising. He was legendary, unflappable, filled with enthusiasm, and always on the hunt for a big idea. Nothing seemed to stop him: on a very early 5 am flight we both showed up bleary eyed only to discover that I had worn mis-matched socks and he was wearing two different loafers -- but, he flashed his trademark smile, knowing that an outlet mall was close to our client. We bought shoes and socks, went to the meeting, sold our work with smiles on our faces. One of many great adventures with our friend Tim. We will miss him and are saddened for the family's loss. Rest In Peace, Tim.
