To the Harris Family:

I am so sorry to hearof the passing of Bill. I got to know him and Donna well at the Dialysis center. I pray that the passing will ease your hearts and give you comfort that he is in a far greater place and he is having a party. I will remember him well and often.

Dear Keisha & Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Keisha, the relationship you and your granddad had was very special which was obvious to all. You always had a special twinkle in your eyes when you told some story about your granddad. It was also obvious from the remarks expressed at the funeral, that your granddad was loved and admired by many people. He is at peace now and you will always have your memories and the knowledge that you were with him, helping and loving him to the end.

Take Care and please know you will be in my prayers.

To Donna, Juanita, and the entire family - This is a very difficult time for all of you and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. Bill was a wonderful person, who was well liked by all. My kids and I have to consider knowing him a wonderful blessing. He just had a warmth about him and I'm sure that there wasn't to many people that he didn't like. He will be greatly missed by all but know that he is in a better place and doesn't hurt anymore. God Bless all of you and with your faith, you will get thru the hard times. My love and condolences to all. Betty Jean, Donna's cousin.

Bill epitomized the song, "If I can help somebody, then my living will not be in vain." As neighbors we helped each other. I'm sure Bill will hear these words, "WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT." Many of his kind acts were anonymous. May the Lord bless and keep you Donna and the family.

To the family of William (Bill)Harris... I remembered Mr. Harris when I was a little girl growing up in the American Addition. Mr. Harris was a kind person who would allow us to play in his Mother's yard ( on the corner of Woodford & Sigsbee Streets). May GOD comfort and keep all of you during this sad time. Our Bible tells us "to be absent in the body is to present with the Lord".

May you find peace in knowing he is just sleeping for a season, we will all see him again.

Humbly submitted,
