William E. "Bill" Lang

Lang William "Bill" E. Lang, 89, of Venice, FL, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away on May 2, 2017. Bill was a journeyman electrician with Local 683 in Columbus, OH for 42 years. He was a former golfer and member of Capri Isles. He was also a member at Apple Valley in Howard, OH. He was a jack of all trades, and he was always helping someone. Survivors include his wife, JoAn of Venice, FL; daughters, Jodi (Mark) Baker of Worthington, OH and Judy (Joel) Tremer Hall of Delaware, OH; sister, Margaret Ann (James) Gatterdam of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Ann, Mimi, and Matthew; and five great grandchildren, Jarod, Jazmyn, Marissa, Rory, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph and Clem. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, FL. There will also be a service at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel in Lockburne, OH on June 24 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery following the service.
