My mother - his sister - said that as kids in Oklahoma they all had double nicknames. He was called "Billy Bruce." My mom (Jacqueline Louise) was called "Jackie Lou," which she never liked.

Could this be Uncle Bill? Was he related to Mary Lee and Virginia and Jackie? His mother's name was Lucy and his father's name was William? If so, please get in touch with me on Facebook or via email at [email protected]. because I'm related to you guys!

If not, my sincerest sorrow for the loss of a handsome guy and veteran.

Dear Ginny, I was saddened to see that Bill had passed away. He was a wonderful, warm person and always a gentleman. I worked with Bill for many years at Owens-Illinois in Columbus and I am pleased to know that he had many good retirement years in Arizona after you relocated there

Thank you so much for including his obituary in the Columbus Dispatch.

I called everyone I knew who would have remembered Bill and worked with him.

I wish you and your daughters much peace in the coming months.

Dear Ginny and girls, I am so sorry. He was such a positive, jovial man. I loved seeing the photo of Bill. You are in my prayers, call when you feel up to it. Love, Dede
