William Sylvester Obituary

Sylvester William Sylvester, 91, of Columbus died May 2, 2015 at Kobaker House. Bill was born in Euclid, Ohio March 17, 1924 to the late Louis and Edith (Hood) Sylvester. Bill was a World War II Veteran where he served in the Army as an Air-corps Pilot. He was a member of Grace Polaris Church for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan Sylvester; son, Jim Sylvester and his wife, Janet; grandson, Dan and granddaughter, Michelle; daughter, Lynne Spence and her husband, John and granddaughter, Esther Ortwein and her husband, Josh, granddaughter, Sarah Spence, great grandson, Zebulon Spence-McKean; son, David Sylvester and his wife, Janeen, granddaughter, Melissa Davis and her husband, Chad, great grandson, Cooper Davis, granddaughter, Abbey Sylvester, grandsons, Jared and Drew; daughter, Suzanne Dewar and her husband, Doug, grandson, David Dewar and his wife, Karen, great grandchildren, Dianna, Kaedynee, Bubby and Kendhyl; grandson, Scott and wife, Tricia, great grandchildren, Katie and Jake; nieces, Gayle Persch and Cheryl Hughey and her husband, Tom. The Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 Grace Polaris Church, 8225 Worthington Galena Road, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m..
