DENNIS – Dorothy ""Dot"" Pardue, 85, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, Mississippi. She was born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi, to John Tillman Pardue and Lealura Wilson Pardue. She was retired from Genesco, Fulton, Mississippi, and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Dennis, Mississippi.
Services will be Friday, March 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Mississippi with Bro. David Gould and Bro. Jack Maroon officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, Mississippi. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one sister, Marie Sartain, Belmont, Mississippi.; one brother, Bud Pardue (Pat) Dennis, Mississippi and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Maxine Glasgow and Velma Mathieu; and two brothers, Lenene Pardue and Larry Gene Pardue.
Pallbearers will be Royce Hopkins, Brendix Glasgow, Ronnie Eaton, Scotty Skinner, Ronnie Eaton Jr. and Jerry Sartain.
Visitation will be today, March 24, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi.
