Dwight Nicholson Obituary

Thomas Dwight Nicholson, 72, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home. He was born in Prentiss County on September 24, 1951. His parents were William Richard Nicholson and Ollie Eunis Rinehart. Mr. Nicholson graduated from Booneville High School and worked at ITT. He was a member of the East Booneville Baptist Church. Dwight enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, cooking, and most of all music and playing the drums. He is survived by his nieces Venita (Steve) Wheeler and Leigh (Curtis) Winslow; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends, and his caretaker Stephen Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Dewey Nicholson; his grandparents; Dewey and Jettie (Spencer) Nicholson, Wester and Nettie (Palmer) Rinehart; a sister, Nettie Lou Harris and a nephew, Richard Huguley. Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Tim Hankins officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville City cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ethan Winslow, Collin Middleton, Ramond Huguley, Jr., Steve Wheeler, Stanley Perry, Joshua Schorr and Clint Tindell. Condolences may be extended to the family at boonevillefuneralhome.net
