Gerald Bishop Obituary
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Baker officiating. Burial will be in Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Thomas Bishop of Blue Mountain; three daughters, Tina West of Calhoun City, Gina Vernon (Shannon) of Pontotoc and Rebecca Bishop of Blue Mountain; one son, Robert Bishop of Vardaman; three sisters, Jeanette Lancaster of Jackson, Phyllis McCorkle of Hattiesburg and Glenda McBride of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Donald Wayne Bishop of Robinsville, N.C., and Ronnie Lee Bishop of Raleigh, N.C.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Reuben Beaty, Benny Little, Steve McMinn, Hollis Garrison, Doug James and Bro. Terry Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Garland Billy Bishop; and two brothers-in-law, Archie B. Lancaster III and Charlie Alexander McCorkle.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015m at Ripley Funeral Home.
