Gladys Keith Obituary
Gladys Keith loved going to church at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and served the Lord fervently. Her house was always open to anyone who fell on hard times, and if anyone needed a prayer, she was often their first call. She loved spending time with her family, yard selling, and reading her Bible.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from Valley Grove Baptist Church with her pastor, Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM-service time on Friday, all at the Church. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving the family. A full obituary will be posted later. 662 840 5000.
She is survived by her sister: Jeanette Hall; sons: Jerry Keith and Chris Keith; Daughter-in-laws: Linda Horton, Rachel Keith, Pam Thrasher, & Tamara Keith; Neice: Melissa Keith Goddard; Grandchildren: Jerry Lee Keith (Sherrie), Mandy Stephens (Kenny), Derek Keith, Khristopher Keith (Jennifer), Ashley Thrasher, and Madison Thrasher; Great Grandchildren: Ashlee Lindley, Alex Keith, Adam Keith, Justin Floyd, Jacob Floyd, Breanna Keith, Gage Keith, Victoria Keith, & Ashton Clay Keith; Great Great Grandchildren: Everett Lindley, Bianca LoCastro, Khy'ree McIntosh, & Makenzley Thrasher.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Agnes Dunn Scruggs; her father, Marvin Thomas Scruggs; her brothers: Charles Scruggs, Larry Scruggs, Wayne Scruggs, Thomas Scruggs, and her son, Butch Keith. She was twice widowed by Lemuel Hamilton Keith and Lemuel Clay "Buck" Keith.
Pallbearers are Jerry Lee Keith, Alex Keith, Tony Keith, Jacob Floyd, Jeremy Garner, Doug Keith, Matthew Keith, and Cole Keith.
