Doc was such a great guy. I knew him from West Jackson St. Baptist Church, where I´ve been a member since 1979. He was such a joy to be around. I was unable to make it to the visitation today, but my prayers are with his entire family during these days ahead. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven one day.

So sad to hear of Doc's passing. He was a good man and a mentor. He was my sunday school teacher growing up and I couldnt have asked for a better man and friend.
He was always full of joy and had a good story waiting for you.
As college student doc let me shadow him while he worked as a probation officer. He was firm but always caring. He was wise and practical with life and solving problems.
The last I saw Doc was at my moms funeral. He always supported our family and the teens of WJSBC, even into our adult years.
He was and is a light that will always shine brightly to those of us who knew and loved him.
My deepest condolances. He will be missed.

Mr. Doc Robbins was a Great Man and Educator, I knew him from Shannon High
I was a student there from 8th grade to 12th grade (fall of 1969 to May 1974).
Mr. Robbins was a friend to all students. I will keep his family in my prayers during this time.
