1943 - 2017

James E. "Jimmy" Fisher Jr. 73, formerly of Winona passed away on February 08, 2017 at the NMMC. He was a retired restaurant owner/operator. He had operated businesses in Booneville, Ripley, Baldwyn and Corinth. He was an avid Mississippi State Fan. He sponsored and supported several youth and adult sports activities and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Thrasher Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at Thrasher Baptist Church on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Doug Rakestraw, Bro. Milton Koon and Bro. David Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Garden Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Bryan Fisher of Booneville; (2) daughters, Patricia

Fisher McAnally of Thrasher and Tara Fisher Lambert of Booneville; (1) son, Jimmy Bryan Fisher (Catrina) of Ripley; (1) sister, Tina Fisher Holland (Mike) of Winona; (1) brother, Sandy Fisher (Teresa) of Booneville; grandchildren, Corey Lambert, Kendel Fisher, Hunter Lambert, Adam McAnally, Kasia Fisher and Khiyana Fisher; Great-grandchildren, Clint Lambert and Caden Gilmore; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special nephew, Grant Fisher.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Elbert Fisher Sr and mother Frances Montgomery Fisher; Sister, Barbara Ann Fisher.

Pallbearers will be Corey Lambert, Hunter Lambert, Kendel Fisher, Adam McAnally, Gerald Blackwell, Johnny Blackwell, Mike Holland and Grant Fisher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clint Lambert, Caden Gilmore, Danny Wilder, Curry Harsin, Jack Hodges and Bill Kindred.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the Thrasher Bapstist Church.

In Llieu of Flowers memorials may be sent to Thrasher Baptist Church.
