Josie Keith

1932 - 2025

Josie Keith, 93, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Countrywood Manor. She was born August 19, 1932, in Scott County, MS to Clyde and Ruthie Mae Nelson. She was a homemaker and worked beside her husband, Grady on their chicken farm. She was a member of Auburn Baptist Church and had previously been a longtime member of Eggville Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her husband, her children and her family. She served the Lord and was a faithful servant.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Yates officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Gary Keith, Larry Keith and his wife, Bo and Wade Keith and his wife, Lynn; five grandchildren, Josh Keith, John Keith, Matt Keith, Will Keith and Katelyn Keith Earnest; 11 great-grandchildren, Noah, Elijah and Josie Keith; Analynn and Meredith Keith; Nora Jane and Deacon Keith; Jack and Maggie Wade Keith; and Carson and Andi Earnest; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grady Keith; three brothers, Herb Nelson, James Nelson and Riley Nelson; and one sister, Nell Speaks.

Pallbearers will be John Keith, Josh Keith, Matt Keith, Will Keith, Randy Earnest and Noah Keith.
