Justin Forsyth

1991 - 2015

MYRTLE – Justin Lynn Forsyth was born April 5, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2009 he graduated from Myrtle Attendance Center in Myrtle and went on to college at Northeast Mississippi Community College where he excelled in his studies. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in New Albany, but New Life Baptist Church in Plum Grove, Texas, adopted him and his family as he was taking treatments over the last two years. Little did we know this turn of events in his life would lead him to the love of his life, Yosselin. Justin was a country boy at heart and loved the great outdoors. He was passionate about bass fishing, especially with his favorite fishing buddy, his dad. He was an expert level gamer, playing Xbox with the competitiveness of an Olympic athlete. Justin was so blessed to be surrounded by a host of people who loved him unconditionally and showed him what it truly means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. He dearly loved his family and friends and fought with such courage and strength to stay with us. On Oct. 5, 2015, his journey in this life ended, and we know he is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Liberty Cemetery. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of local arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Yosselin Perez Forsyth; his parents, Glynn and LaJune Forsyth; his brother, Josh Forsyth; and his sister, Emily Forsyth; and his sister-in-law, Jodi Forsyth. He also leaves his grandmothers, Ivery Cobb and Etoyle Forsyth, both of New Albany; his father-in-law, Reyes Perez; his mother-in-law, Rossy Perez; sisters-in-law, Brizeira Perez, Jaqueline Perez, and Roxanne Perez; his nephews, Milo and Match Forsyth; his niece, Maisley Forsyth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leonard Forsyth, Herbert Parrish and Ray Cobb; his uncle, Darrell Parrish; and his cousin, Dillion Parrish.
