Kathy Shouse Obituary

BOONEVILLE – Kathy Darlene Sims Shouse, 56, died Monday, August 25, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born Feb. 7, 1958, in Booneville to Hershel and Dorothy Ross Sims. She was a family case worker at Pisgah Head Start for 28 years, and she was a member of Mills Community Baptist Church. She enjoyed her work, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching them play ball.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Donny Davis and Bro. Robby Johnson officiating. Burial was in Antioch #2 Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Mickey Charles Shouse of Booneville; two daughters, Brandi McKinney (Jonathan) of Booneville and Penni Cooper (Glenn) of Rienzi; her mother; six grandchildren, Kaylee SuzzAnne Cooper, Bryce Cooper, Ainsley Kate McKinney, Jon Tyler Shouse, Averi Suzanne McKinney, and Natalya Christine Shouse; and a very special aunt, Ruth Wren of Pisgah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Shouse, on May 1, 2003; her father; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Theo and Nettie Shouse; her grandparents, Ed and Ruby Sims, and Joe and Cora Ross.
Pallbearers were Jody Hyde, Brandon Taylor, Dale Ross, Larry Lambert, Wesley Kennedy, Tim Lambert, Shawn Crum, Brian Glover and Bryan Ballard.
