Kyle Yates

1983 - 2023

Kyle Ross Yates, 39, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born October 22, 1983, to Ronnie and Vaughnda Clayton Yates. Kyle graduated from Amory High School where he excelled academically and in baseball and soccer. He continued his education at ICC where he also played soccer. He then obtained his Bachelors in Business and Banking and Finance from Mississippi State. Kyle was an extordinary man, he enjoyed a good debate with anyone at any time. He enjoyed fishing, good music, great food, traveling, and all things outdoors with his people. He was larger than life and with his soulmate, Kristin Gehringer, and his dog, Dak, by his side he could take on the world. He will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Kyle will be on Saturday, March 18, at 11:00am at United Funeral Service with Bro. Stephen Ludlam and Pat Ludlam officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 17 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at United.

He is survived by his parents, the love of his life, Kristin Gehringer, one sister, Kristen Turner (Tommy), one brother, Rob Yates (Melanie), the parents of his soulmate, Bob and Suzanne Gehringer, two nephews, Reed and Luke Yates, and one niece, Mary Flynn Yates, one grandmother, Mary Yates, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
