Larry Alread Obituary

Nettleton- Larry Ottis Alread, 78, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Sanctuary Hospice House- Tupelo. Larry was born in Lee County on June 12, 1945 to parents Ottis Alred and Ruby (Capps) Alred. He was a member of Nettleton First Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of the Nettleton area. He retired after 30 years as the owner of Alread Painting Company. He enjoyed trail riding,his dogs and horses. Larry enjoyed the outdoors and loved water skiing, hunting, fishing and camping. He had been a hunting guide in South Texas for many years.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 4:00 pm in the Chaple of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton,MS. with Rev. Sammy John Raper officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Alread of Nettleton; three daughters, Tiffany Alred Phillips (Beau) of Tupelo; Casey Alred Jones (Blake) of Marietta, GA; Taylor Brook Evans of Oxford; one son, Larry Evans of Tupelo; two sisters, Kathy Hegwood of Picayune, MS; Teresa Treadway of Nashville, TN; nine grandchildren, Olivia, Michael, Lola, Scarlett, Major, Sarah, Carson, Peyton and Larry, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Jennifer Evans Chandler.

Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home before service time from 3:00-4:00 pm.
