Dearest Nancy,
I worked with your mom at Southern Native Plants in Florida in 2007. She is an amazing woman and spoke very fondly of you. We could be collecting plants and snake infested Waters and she would be joking and laughing with such a joyful attitude. I remember stories she told us of her life and how she persevered through so much. She didn't gossip or speak poorly of others. She showed me kindness when I had to move and needed a place to stay for the night. I'll never forget our discussion of what we would do with a million dollars. She said that she would start a shelter for the homeless because she empathized with them, having needed a home herself at one point. If that doesn't show anyone how big and beautiful her heart is, I don't know what does. She helped others and was kind and fun through it all. Thank you so much for letting me know of her passing through Facebook. She means so much to me, and I'm grateful to have known her. I am praying for her, you, and for the condolences of all who knew her.
