Mittie Harper Obituary
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00P.M. at Inspirational Community Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS with Rev. Jerry Christian officiating, Rev. Luther Minor delivering the eulogy and Rev. Cordell Phillip host pastor. Burial will be in Porter Memorial Garden. Agnew & Sons Funeral Home of Verona is in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and three brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories, nine children; four daughters; Linda Harper. Judy (A.L.) Green, Addie (Jerry) Williamson and Tracey Howell; five sons; Gary (Gloria) Harper, Johnny Chris (Connie) Sadler, Robert (Cortney) Harper, James Kevin (Kaline) Harper and Marcus (Rochelle) Harper; two sisters Velma Riley and Hazel (Lawrence) Fields; two brothers; Willie Lee Harper and Charles Harper; one aunt, Amy Crawford and one uncle, Milus Copeland; five God Children; Aundra (Minnie) Menefield, Anna Vaughn, Gloria Gates, Inell Heard and Brenda Johnson; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two special friends Celia Gordon and Fay Vaughn and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Visitation is Friday, September 1, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at Poplar C.M.E. Church in Saltillo, Ms. Family and friends may sign the guestbook at www.agnewandsons.com
