Patsy Coats Obituary
She spent her life serving the community as a seamstress in the garment industry and by happily serving school children lunch every day. She was also an insurance agent with Woodmen of the World where she enjoyed meeting people and working in the community.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 1 p.m. at Golden Central Baptist Church with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her mother, Coreese Jones Pardue; her husband, Bruce Coats; one son, Todd Rogers (Kim); two daughters, Julie Rogers (James) and Ashleigh Gilliland (Joseph); grandchildren Trent Rogers, Serenity Ayala (David), Brayen Hastings, Bellace Hastings, Kallen Guthery, Kruz Guthery, and Baylor Gilliland; three great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Jones; her stepfather, Dexter Pardue; her sister, Judy Jones; and her brother Jerry Jones.
Pallbearers will be James Guthery, Brayen Hastings, Randy Elliott, Eric Montgomery, Trent Rogers, Micheal Taylor and Donald Ray Thomas.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 11-1 at Golden Central Baptist Church.

Nothing I can say will ease your pain, but I am forever sorry for losing someone so special. Your mom was a good friend, I've loved her for a long time! She will be missed. Prayers for the family. I am sorry that I could not be there today.
