Elizabeth S. Poirier passed away on September 21,2025 at the age of 98. Elizabeth was an avid reader and dedicated several years of her life to teaching in New Hampshire. She also found joy in learning to play the organ. She was also in a group where she would show African Violets and she loved her fur baby Sophia. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Poirier, in 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Foy of York, Maine; Barbara Poirier of Sebring, Florida; and Joyce Poirier of Sebring, Florida. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Michele Foy of Concord, New Hampshire, and Julie Cota (Bill) of Orlando, Florida, as well as two great-grandchildren, Evan and Aidan Cota, and two nieces, Nancy Frederick and Cathy Field both from Maine. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sr. and Emma Field, and her brother, Earl Field Jr. A Memorial Mass will be held October 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association:

RIP Mrs. Poirier. Having known Barbara for 50+ years, I saw many pictures of you and knew how close you all were. May you rest with Jesus and your husband in no more pain.
