Ray Jumper Obituary

Ray Hugh "Elvis" Jumper, age 67, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 28, 1950, in New Albany to James Thomas Jumper and Mildred Lois Nolan Jumper West. He was retired owner and operator of Lawn Care Service. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Lone Star. He was an Elvis look-a-like since 1993 and visited St. Jude and nursing homes to provide entertainment to the patients.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at United Funeral Service with Bro. David Bishop and Bro. Stephen Denton officiating. Burial will be in Vista Memorial Park. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters, Donna Graham (Corey Graham) and Lisa Beaty; a step-daughter, Susan Stevens (Robert); a sister, Dolly Robbins; five brothers, Charlie Jumper, Allen Jumper, David Jumper, Dennis Jumper and Randy Jumper; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Barbara Hollands.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of twenty-eight years, Shirley Burchfield Jumper; a brother, James Jumper; and a granddaughter, Breanna Gail Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Corey Graham, Scotty Tollison, Robert Stevens, Cliff Wigginton and Mark Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Zak Jumper, Tyler Thomas, Brian Christopher Beaty, Drake Graham and Tyler Graham.

Visitation will Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
