Roger Green Obituary
Roger Dale Glenn, 75, passed away on November 06, 2025 at the North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 06, 1950 to the late Marvin and Zelma DeVaughn Glenn. He enjoyed horse shows, fishing, mechanic work, cooking, yard work and dancing with the Hobo Highsteppers. Roger loved anything his grandchildren were doing and he was the owner of T2 Race Car (dirt track) and he was the owner of Glenn's Handy Pak where he earned the title of King of dough burgers. He was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church and his service to others was how he spread love. Roger had a servant's heart and you never left him without a smile.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:00 a. m. with Bro. Jeremy Johnson and Bro. Richard Anglin officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Zion Cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter, Amy Felker and her fiancé, James Vaughn and (2) grandsons, Dylan and Austin Felker all of Dallas, TX; mother of his daughter, Rhonda Moore of Dallas, TX; sister, Elizabeth "Lib" Johnson of Baldwyn; brothers, Johnny Glenn (Peggy) and Don Glenn (Shelly) all of Baldwyn; aunt, Ruthie Hankins of Saltillo; host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Zelma Glenn ; sister, Helen Glenn Scott and her husband, Junior; brother, Bobby Glenn and a brother-in-law, David Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Mike Johnson, Tim Johnson, Kenneth Scott, Ricky Newby, Kenny Bennett, Randy Hale, Bill Woodruff, P. T. Buse, Danny Michael, Chuck Hankins, Jimmy Michael, Dylan Felker, Austin Felker, Jerry Wayne Whitehead and Junior Smith.
Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Glover, Paul Barnes, Bobby Glenn, Deacons at Little Creek Baptist Church and all the staff at Newby's Used Cars.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday evening, November 13, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Little Creek Baptist Church in his memory.
