Rosie Roberts

1956 - 2025

Rosie O. Roberts, a devout Christian and cherished member of the Keownville Baptist Church, was called to her eternal home on August 20, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born on November 15, 1956, in New Albany, MS, Rosie's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the love she had for her family and God.

Rosie's journey of love began with her marriage to her soulmate, James Ray Roberts. Their union was blessed with 52 years of shared dreams, laughter, and an ever-growing family. Rosie's legacy continues through her devoted children, Stephanie Grose (Steve) and Leslie Denley (Bill); her adored twelve grandchildren, Nathan Nanney, Mary Morgan Garcia (Guillermo), Olivia Nanney, Brody Lane Grose, James Brandon Hill, Eli Hill (Erica), Kaylee Hill, Amanda Thompson, Amber Meads, Misti Blakenship (Mason), Dustin Denley, and Brandi Denley (Jacob); and her cherished eight great-grandchildren, Emma Klaire Nanney, Saylor Bates Nanney, Cruz Ray Garcia, Penelope Denley, Cheyenne Spaulding, Josiah Thompson, Colton Thompson, and Gavin Thompson.

The daughter of Joe and Carolyn Bradford Frazier, Rosie was a beacon of love and kindness, traits she inherited from her parents and shared with her four siblings, Barbara Pannell (Bobby), Carolyn "Tinkie" Brown, Mike Frazier (Bonnie), and Ray Frazier (Sandra). She is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Buster Frazier, Bobbie Ray (Anthony) and Betsy Frazier, one brother-in-law Mitchel, one grandchild, Baby Grose and one great grandchild Baby Garcia.

Rosie's professional life was marked by her dedicated service at VIP in New Albany, where she worked until her health no longer permitted. Despite the challenges she faced, Rosie's heart remained steadfast in her care for others and her commitment to her work.

Her hobbies, which included quilting, crocheting, and sewing, were more than pastimes; they were acts of love, with every stitch infused with prayer and care for the recipient. Rosie's hands were rarely still, as she found joy in creating warmth and beauty for her family and friends.

Above all, Rosie was known for her loving nature, her kind spirit, and her faith-filled heart. She lived her life as a testament to her beliefs, always putting her trust in the Lord and instilling the same values in those around her. Rosie's love for Jesus was evident in every aspect of her life, and her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was unparalleled.
