Samuel White Obituary
Services will be 2 p.m. today, March 30, at Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Wayne Bridges officiating. Burial will be in the Bain Family Cemetery in Alcorn County.
He is survived by his companion, Tina Hargett and her sons, Tyler and Cheston of Jumpertown; two sons, Robby White (Michelle) of Horn Lake and Daniel White (Chelsey) of Corinth; his mother, Avis White of Booneville; a stepdaughter, Tabatha Bullock Hughes (Cody) of Corinth; a stepson, Bradley Bullock of Tupelo; eight grandchildren, Kayla White, Madison White, Jada Hughes, Alivia Hughes, Noah Hughes, Lucas Hughes, Brandy Bullock and Nellie Bullock; four brothers, Kim White of Booneville, David White (Venita) of Blue Springs, Jimmy White of Booneville and Larry White (Bonnie) of New Albany; three sisters, Diane Beck (Tim) of Ocean Springs, Laquita Bain (Bryan) of Corinth and Gene Gahagen of Booneville; a sister-in-law, Gail White of Binghamton, N.Y.; and many nieces, nephews and friends who will treasure his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Duverna ""Dee"" White; brothers, Kerry White, Joseph Harold White, Lester White, Floyd White, Milton White and Bro. Bobby White; his grandparents, Leonard and Frances Graham and John and Hattie White.
Pallbearers are Gayle Yates Jr., Bill Kelly, Miles Clement, Alan Tollinson, Travis Hastings and Perry Jackson.
The family offers special thanks to Dr. Portnoy and Phyllis Fiveash, CFNP, of the West Clinic Cancer Center, and Magnolia Regional Health Center and Hospice for their special treatment of Sam.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Galloway, 202 E. Skyline Drive, Booneville, MS 38829.
