Sherri Jones Obituary

Mrs. Sherri Marlene Jones, age 61 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at North Miss. Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 2PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Sherri was born November 28, 1963, in Jackson, TN; the daughter of the late Lavon Dale & Patti Jo Hicks Dye. She worked in childcare as a daycare giver in her home.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her sister, Vicki Baker (Greg); nieces and nephews, David Simpson, Vince Baker, Joseph Dye, Sharissa Cook, Jenny Baker, and Divina Hoskins; and a host of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Jones; son, Jonathon Jones; sisters, Pam Simpson, Kathi Randalls; and nephew, Josh Dye.

Visitation with family and friends will begin at 12PM, and continue until service time, Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sherri Marlene Jones.
