Shirley Smith Obituary
Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the Service starts at 12:00 PM at Sanctuary Church. Burial at Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her husband: Sherman Smith of Blue Mountain, MS; two sons: Scott Smith (Melinda) of Cotton Plant, MS, Steven Smith (Melissa) of Birmingham, AL; one brother: Terry Tigrett (Jan) of Blue Mountain, MS; three sisters: Jimmie Sue Gay (Larry) of Ripley, MS, Mary Moore of Savannah, TN, Jamie Stephens of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren: Lauren Gafford (Joel), Bailey Blade (Austin), Josh Smith (Tara), Tyler Smith, Wesley Smith, Emily Sullivan (Connor), Nealy Maples (Scott); ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Stanley Smith; two brothers: Billy Joe Tigrett, Charles Tigrett.
Pallbearers: Joel Gafford, Austin Blade, Connor Sullivan, Josh Smith, Tyler Smith, Wesley Smith, Scott Maples. Officiating, Bro. Tony Baker.

Shirley was one of the sweetest and most loved people I know. All the school kids were crazy over her. My kids still talk about her when talking about when they were in school. My mother Bonnie Mauney was just one of her friends that thought the world of her. She will be missed by so many.

Sorry about loss of your loved one . I was a Tigrett as my dad was Hugh Tigrett,sr. My mother was a Dees and my cousin James Lewellan is married to Lauren McBride.
