Willie Hobson Pittman Obituary
Willie taught physical science, biology and French for nine years in the State of Mississippi and thirty-nine years in Nashville. She was named Metro Teacher of the Year in 1994.
She is survived by six loyal daughters, Michelle Pittman-Betserai, Raquel Lynn Pittman, Karen Laureen Pittman, Dr. Kristianna Marie Fredenburg (Michael), Noel Nicole Pittman, Anita Chantol Pittman; son, Jack Louis Pittman, Jr. (Jan); Five Sisters, Jerry Lyn Hobson Stewart (Hermie), Opal Lynn Hobson, Margret Ann Robbins, Sandra Jean Hobson, and Brenda Joyce Miller (Donald);Fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to St. Pius X School, 2750 Tucker Road, Nashville, TN 37208.
