Betty Bryan Obituary
Betty Jean Adamson Bryan, age 86, passed away on January 29, 2016 at National Health Center in Murfreesboro, TN. She was a native of Dekalb County, but has lived most of her life in Rutherford County. She worked as a demo lady at Kroger and also worked as a caregiver.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lois Bryan; parents, Ace C. Adamson and Letha Frances Martin Adamson; brothers and sisters, Georgia Adamson, Ada L. Adamson Hicks, Clarence Adamson, Lucille Adamson Murphy, Bobbie Adamson Crook, Ethel Adamson Crook, Alene Adamson Harvey, Thurman Adamson and Estell Adamson Hicks. She is survived by her sons, Mike (MaryJo) Bryan and Alex (Bettye) Bryan; daughters, Rita Faye (James Sullivan) Bryan and Melody Hope Bryan; and grandchildren, Rhett Bryan, Amy Murphy, Dustin Bryan, Jessica Brawner, Jarred Butler, Jenny Smith and Caroline Goolsby; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home. A chapel service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 1, 2016 at Jennings & Ayers with Mike Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery in Milton, TN with friends and family serving as active pallbearers.
