Clarence David "Dave" Bush

Clarence David "Dave" Bush, age 69 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014. A native of Jackson, TN, he was the son of the late Clarence Bush and Estelle Gardner Bush Hudson.

Mr. Bush is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia "Pat" Mayes Bush; daughters, Rhonda Bush Warren and her fiancé Randy Gillihan, Lori Bush Hannah and Christie Bush; five grandchildren, Amber Luker and her husband Kenneth, Robert Higdon and his wife Heather, Hunter and Hailey Hannah, and Kaylin Bush; three great grandchildren, Eli and Savannah Luker and Madison Higdon; wonderful friend, Steve Osborne all of Murfreesboro, TN.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Fisher officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with Robert and Artie Higdon, Hunter Hannah, Kenneth Luker, Randy Gillihan and Steve Osborne serving as Pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Bush was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of Bush Pest Control for 20 years. Mr. Bush loved fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors, especially his farm. Dave was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

We were truly blessed to have met the two of you years ago at the beach. We will forever treasure those memories. I so very much love my daddy & Kaylin loves her grandfather! This man was my 1st & only true love!!! I will miss seeing his smiling face & hearing his stories! Boy, this man could go on & on w/ his stories. For those of you that have never had the privilege of knowing him, you sure missed out on meeting a remarkable man...for those of you that did know him, you knew he was a man of his word & a man of respect! He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need! I could sit & go on & on for hours but 1 thing I do know for sure is I hope to be just like him 1 day. I love you daddy & I'll ALWAYS be your "BABY GIRL"!!! Till I see you again, tell Mawmaw Mayes, Mawmaw Hudson , Pawpaw Mayes, Pawpaw Bush, Aunt Janice, & Uncle Jimmy that I love them & I'll see them again 1 day! I don't know how I'll go on w/out you because you were the 1 I always wanted to share my accomplishments with! I'll take care of Momma for you, as will Rhonda & Lori! I love you more than you ever knew & I could've never asked for a better father or grandfather for Kaylin! I am so thankful she got to spend as much time w/ you & Momma that she did! You will always be a part of my decision making...ill ask myself "What would your daddy do?" I hope to make you proud of me from heaven!!
