Just this past week I was thinking of the big shot he hit at the start of the 4th quarter of the state championship game when we were 2 points down. As he went up to shoot it I said to myself "no Jerry, don't shoot. We have no re-bounders". No re-bounders were needed as that tied the game and we went on to win. Thanks Jerry for the many memories.

This deeply saddens so many of his high school class of 1965. Jerry had a genuine kindness, healthy laughter with his sense of humor, a gracious person - always allowing others first. He was a true friend. Know we continue to pray for all of you.

Jerry's death is breaking our hearts. Dickie just said he was the best member of the 1965 championship team and that team was a great one. We are thinking of you and praying for peace. We loved Jerry!!! Peggy and Dickie Thomas
