Some of my earliest fond memories are from sitting with Jo Ann ("Aunt Jo") in church. I also recall traveling through the hills and valleys of southern Arkansas standing on the seat with my arm around her as she drove. We didn't worry with car seats back then. I vividly remember the excitement as she pulled us onto the ferry to cross the river. I could not have been more than 4 or 5 and had never seen such a thing!

In later years I remember how she loved the old gospel hymns and old-fashioned singing. It was an honor, privilege, and blessing to be a part of the service to honor her. It is an even bigger blessing to KNOW that one day soon I will see her again. When we meet again, next to the River of Life, we will eternally sing those songs of praise.

Though she will be missed on this earth, I rejoice that she is in that Eternal Home!
