Juanita Maxwell Obituary
Shreveport, LA Juanita Maxwell, 85, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Shreveport. Her parents were Thelma and Carl Piazza. Mrs. Maxwell was the manager at Riley Beaird Credit Union for 40 years. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and an exceptional Mother-in-Law who had a great sense of humor.
Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Maxwell, her parents and a daughter, Nita Lynn Maxwell.
Surviving Mrs. Maxwell is a daughter, Ruth M. Lindsey and husband Jerry; a son James Roy Maxwell; two grandchildren, Michael and Ashley Green; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 7, 2014, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Rick McDonald. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 4 to 7 PM Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mother passing. I remember so well her putting up with a bunch of us kids coming and going all the time. I miss that. She was a wonderful person. I know that you will miss her dearly. I hope your happy memories will comfort you during this time, and knowing how much God, family, and friends love you will give you peace.
