CAROL VOGEL Obituary

CAROL SUE VOGEL April 8, 1934 - February 17, 2025 Wichita - Carol Sue Vogel, age 90, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 8, 1934, in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Patrick and Lucille (Sullivan) Donahue. She grew up on a farm near Plains and graduated from Plains High School. On May 4, 1955, Carol married James Vogel. They resided in Dodge City where she had a long career at Evans Products, retiring in 1996. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Cathedral and had a lifelong dedication to fitness. Carol is survived by her children Diane of Wichita, Todd of Oklahoma City, Scott and wife Jaci of Lawrence, and two grandchildren James (Hollie) and David. She is preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, and siblings Daniel Donahue, Larry Donahue, Marynell Donahue, Patty Donahue and Rosemary Fletcher. A family service and interment at Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Fort Dodge will be held later. Memorial contributions can be made in Carols name to Sacred Heart Cathedral School in Dodge City, Kansas. Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
